Museum für Kunst und Kulturgeschichte (Dortmund)

Soda was recently asked to develop the scenography and the design for a new fine arts exhibition opening later this year at the Museum für Kunst und Kulturgeschichte (MKK) in Dortmund.

The MKK has a wide ranging collection that stretches from the prehistory to the 20th century. The forthcoming exhibition will feature over 100 works from the MKK collection, covering a period of 800 years (1120-1920) of Western European art, especially German, including works by Conrad von Soest, Peter Paul Rubens, Caspar David Friedrich, Constantin Meunier, Anselm Feuerbach and Lovis Corinth.

In the upcoming months Soda (in collaboration with Caro Delsing) will be working with Dr. Christian Walda on the further conceptualisation and the design of the exhibition. The exhibition will run for three years.
